· Auld Lang Syne- The words of this songs come from verses written by Scottish poet Robert Burns in 1788. The music is based on an old ballad "Auld Lang Syne"(meaning-old long since) is traditionally sung in midnight on the New Year's Eve, except in Taiwan where it is a graduation song.
· Happy Birthday To You- In 1893 two American sisters, who were teachers wrote this song too sing in School Assemblies. Mildred J. and Patty Smith Hill originally called the song Good Morning to you After the words were changed in 1924, it became known the world over. The song will be in copyright until 2030, but only for commercial purposes. Singing it at a birthday party does not infringe copyright.

In 2006 Reese Witherspoon won the Best Actress Oscar for WALK THE LINE. She also signed a contract for a record breaking $29 million to star in Our Family Trouble(2007). Perviously Julia Roberts held the record for tyhe highest fee paid to an actress, when she was paid $24 million for her role in MONA LISA SMILE(2003). Other top earning actress are Cameron Diaz who was paid $20 million for Charlie's Angels:Full Throttle(2003), Nicole Kidman who earned $17 million to star in BeWitched and the same again for THE INTERPRETER(both 2005) and Jennifer Lopez who took home $15 million for her role in MOnster-IN-Law(2005).
